We stayed a week at the Golden Village Palms Resort in Hemet, California. It is a very nice resort with pools, hot tubs, and lots of activities! The only thing I did not like was the multiple sirens we heard all day long, and the road noise as we were parked at the back of the resort where there was a busy road behind the fence. We spent time lounging by the pool, and I also played pool Volley Ball for 2 hours, it was a lot of fun! The week went by very fast! On Jan. 31st we took off for Potrero County Park to stay one night before we went across the border at Tecate. This park was beautiful, and very quiet! We plan to stay for a couple of days on our return trip. On Feb. 1st we crossed the border at Tecate. We got our tourist cards and they checked our unit. It was a very non-stressful crossing. Everyone was so nice! We are in the BAJA!!!!!! Our first stay is La Jolla Beach Park. The park itself is like a shanty town but we were parked right on the beach side. Our view is spectacular!! I love the sound of the ocean, I am in my element!!
