Back in the States

We crossed the border at Tecate back into the states on April 3rd.  There was a long line of vehicles waiting to cross, it took about 45 minutes to get to the border.  We crossed with no problems.  We drove the short distance to Potrero County Park and stayed for 3 nights, it is such a pretty park!  From there we left and went to the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area, California.  We stayed on BLM Land which is free, we stayed for 2 nights.  It was a pretty barren area with the only attraction being the sand dunes.  They are quite impressive.  It is a very popular area for off road vehicles.  We climbed to the top of one of the dunes, the sand is so fine!  It was pretty neat!  We left on April 8th and drove to Lake Havasu, we are staying just outside of Lake Havasu on BLM Land at a place called Lone Tree.  Again this is free camping.  This is a much prettier area with a beautiful view!  We went into Lake Havasu and walked around by London Bridge, then we had dinner at Javalina Cantina.  It was a good day!  Tomorrow(April 10th) we are going golfing!
