Kind of Scary!!

We left Rancho Santa Inez RV Park on Wednesday to go to our next stop at El Pabellon RV Park, San Quintin.  About an hour into our travel we got held up in backed up traffic.  We thought it might have been an accident, but it was a shooting by the cartel.  Apparently a little black car was boxed in and the driver was killed and 3 others were injured.  We had to wait until the CSI guys did their investigating.  They had already taken the body and the injured away when we got held up.  It took another 3 1/2 hours before they finished and took the car away.  We were finally on our way!  Kind of scary when you think about it!!  We got to El Pabellon RV Park, set up, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset!!

Playa Santispac

On March 14th we got to Playa Sanatispac, our favorite beach!!  We spent 9 days here this time.  It was so hot while here in the mid 30's every day. We were in the water constantly!  I just love this location!  I was on my paddle board every day!  From here we went to San Ignacio and are staying at Rice & Beans Oasis RV Park, we are here for 2 nights.  This place has the best Margaritas on the Baja!!

Slowly heading North

We left Los Barriles after a 13 day stay.  We just loved it there!  It started to feel like home!  Fresh Fruits and Vegetables right across the street from the resort!  We were sad to leave!  The day we left we stopped at the little town of El Triunfo and went to the mission, and walked through the town.  It is such a neat little place.  It was a mining town.  We had lunch at the Triunfo Cafe and it was fabulous!  We got to La Paz and stayed at Campestre Maranatha  for a 2 day stay.  We went grocery shopping for a few needs then back to the camp to change make lunch and head to the beach for the afternoon.  We had the whole beach to ourselves, it was great!!  From La Paz we drove to Ciudad Constitucion and stayed one night at Palapa 206 RV Park.  This morning, March 11th we packed up and left for Loreto.  We are staying at Loreto Shores RV Park for 3 nights.  After we got set up we had a drink then changed into our bathing suits and went to the pool to cool off.  We have had very hot weather 33C!  I'm not complaining because back home in Alberta it is very cold and snowy!!

Day trip to Todos Santos!

Today Doug and I did a day trip to Todos Santos. We left just before 9:30AM and got back at 4:30PM.  We had lunch at the Hotel California, and yes they played the Eagles tunes!!  Our waiter recommended the Chili Relenos, we decided to have that and it was a great choice, it was delicious!! After lunch we walked the town, they have so many shops and galleries!  It is a very touristy area. We found that the souvenirs were quite expensive, the only thing I bought was a purse.  We tried to find t-shirts for the grandchildren but they didn't have them, Oh well, we will find them somewhere else.  It was a great day!
